Thank you Transmission World for your outstanding and courteous service. After the repair was done to my car, it was learned that the part was defective. You did not hesitate to replace it at no additional charge. It is so nice to do business with reputable and fair people. I was traveling between Virginia Beach Va and Hammond In when I had car trouble and broke down on the Ohio turnpike. I was alone with my 20 month granddaughter and I was so afraid. Once I was towed to transmission world and talked with the staff I felt so much safer and I just knew that I was going to get my car fixed and be able to get home. They made me feel so at ease and fixed the problem so fast I was just amazed. Thank you so much for all your help and your fast friendly service that you provided me when I felt so helpless. We were visiting family in Ohio for the holidays, and had difficulty with our vehicle. We called Transmission World on Christmas Eve (a Sunday) but the building was closed. Due to the wonderful customer service, the business phone calls were forwarded to the owner's personal phone, and I received a return phone call immediately. He promptly made an appointment to have my car towed to the facility the following Tuesday to begin an inspection of what was ailing my ride. He was patient, understanding, and tried to imagine what the problem could be (on the phone). We eventually went to a family-owned repair shop instead of Transmission World, but their employees really bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. Thanks again, Mike, and Happy New Year. While traveling on the Ohio Turnpike my car broke down. I called the Ohio Turnpike commission and they had me towed off out within 15 minutes. The Tow Service recommended Transmission World and took my car there. They were busy but took the time to inspect my car. They diognosed the problem very quickly. They could to a temporary fix or replace a part within 1 hour. I authorized the replacement and I was back on the road quickly. I was extremely happy to find a place that knew my situation and didn't take advantage of a stranded motorist. If I lived in the area I wouldn't take my car any other place.
